ALL Races carry a BOBS Silver Bonus available up to$9625.00

*Track likely Heavy 8/9 and True

*RACE 1 @ 12.05pm MEDLEY REFRIGERATION MAIDEN HCP(1000m) - Min Weight 55.5kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

We start with the maidens over the sprint trip on a rain-hitsurface. Like three-year-old Scone filly 12. MINKS MUSIC (MarkSchmetzer/Ashley Morgan; 55.5kg) back a little in trip. Should havefinished closer fourth-up at Armidale, and drawn to get a nice run down inweight. Has previously trialled strongly in heavy ground.

*MAIN DANGERS: Improving local four-year-old 1.Castlebar Road found the line late at big odds resuming, and has won a hometrial since. Kiwi sire was adept on rain-affected ground. Watch the bettingclosely on four-year-old mare 5. Tove, who debuts off two recentcontrolled trials, and leading country rider is booked. Draws to get a softrun, but is by Duporth and must be a query in this going. Keep safe anotherScone visitor, four-year-old 9. Kalmia who resumes off a dominant trialwin, but untested in these conditions.

Likely Tempo: Good

My Betting Attack: MINKS MUSIC Each Way & BoxTrifecta: 1,5,9,12

*RACE 2 @ 12.40pm CAN ASSIST DUBBO MAIDEN HCP(1300m) - Min Weight 56.5kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Still with the maidens in a moderate and testing affair.Home track three-year-old gelding 2. LEGAL ZOU (Brett Robb/ClaytonGallagher; 58kg) stuck on well in a handy maiden here when six weeksbetween runs. Fitter now getting out to a more suitable trip, and will rollforward from a middle gate. Bred to thrive in these conditions, and blinkersare back on.

*MAIN DANGERS: Improving local mare 6. In The Roadwasn't beaten all that far here when stepping up sharply in trip. Getssignificant gear changes, including blinkers added, and should be peakingfourth-up. Provincial mare 4. Candy Pants is still without a win headinginto her 24th start, but has been placed five times. Showed improvement holdingher ground in the heavy at Taree, and better form is clearly saved for wettracks. Include in exotics home filly 9. Lozenger at her fourth start, although drawn off the track.

Likely Tempo: Fair to Solid

My Betting Attack: LEGAL ZOU to WIN

*RACE 3 @ 1.15pm NEWCASTLE JOCKEY CLUB MAIDEN PLATE(1600m) - Set Weights; Apprentices Can Claim:

Improving three-year-old Scone filly 12. MY KHALEESI(Cameron Crockett/Reece Jones a0kg; 57kg) is ready to break through gettingout to the mile fourth-up at set weights. Has steadily improved through theprep generally against deeper opposition, and was scratched from her home trackmeeting on Tuesday to run here.

*MAIN DANGERS: Progressive home track filly andex-Victorian 9. Camp Cove found the line okay back sharply in trip off afive-week break for the new stable, and even better suited now out to the mileon a 13-day turnaround. Capable mare 13. Paradia has been solidenough in and around this distance, and blinkers come off for the first time.Include local filly 6. Anxiety who charged home late to miss narrowly ina modest CL1 here when heavily specked at big odds; while local three-year-old1. Bernforme is also searching for a longer trip fifth-up.

Likely Tempo: Reasonable to Solid

My Betting Attack: MY KHALEESI to WIN and Quinella: 9& 12

*RACE 4 @ 1.55pm MACQUARIE RIVER CONSULTINGBENCHMARK 66 HCP (1200m) - Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Always competitive and high pressure sprints in this grade. Smartfive-year-old local mare 2. FEARLESS MILA (Clint Lundholm/Ms ElissaMeredith a3kg; 55.5kg) is suited back to this trip off a two-month freshen.Put three impressive wins together up to the mile and at this level throughearly autumn, and normally comes to hand quickly on the fresh side.Best-weighted runner in the race after the full claim, and looms as the one tobeat.

*MAIN DANGERS:  Big watch on Mudgeefive-year-old 4. Bandahara resuming off a six month spell and nice openclass trial. Tough local seven-year-old 1. Sons Of Bourke has asound record at the track, but nearly all his best form is on drier ground overthe shorter distance.

Likely Tempo: Solid to Good

My Betting Attack: FEARLESS MILA to WIN

*RACE 5 @ 2.35pm BERRYMAN OPTICAL LOCAL LENSSERVICES CLASS 3 HCP (1000m) - Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Another good even dash. Keen on one having her first run in15 months in lightly-raced five-year-old mare 5. BELLSZOV BOURKE (ClintLundholm/Jake Pracey-Holmes; 56kg) who resumes off a smart trial. Hasn'tstarted since autumn 2020, having switched from one leading local stable toanother, but boasts a 50 percent strike rate from only four starts at thistrack. Being by Zoffany out of a Bell Esprit mare, she's bred to handle heavyground, and before the lay-off easily beat a few handy sprinters, including PatrickMay, who then went on to win several races.

*MAIN DANGERS: Stablemate three-year-old filly 6.Knight Driver resumed with a dominant CL1 win from the front, and both winsfrom only four starts have come on rain-affected ground. Improvinghome track three-year-old 2. Alaskan Aura has been consistent all prep, sweeping home to beat a good CL2 field here at his latest. Up to his heaviestweight in a while, but couldn't be fitter and draws to get a trail. Heavy trackis the only concern. Big watch on five-year-old mare 4. Mont Genep whoresumes off a steady trial, and has a sound first-up record. Must keep safeboth four-year-old mare 8. Whatacrumpet who just missed finishing hardin a BM 58; and improving provincial filly 7. Superstasia who chasedhome Alaskan Aura here fourth-up.

Likely Tempo: Good

My Betting Attack: BELLSZOV BOURKE Each Way and FirstFour: 2,5,6/2,4,5,6,7,8/2,4,5,67,8,/2,4,5,6,7,8

*RACE 6 @ 3.10pm PRECISION HEALTH CARE CLASS 3 HCP(1400m) - Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Gulgong five-year-old gelding 3. SPILIA (BrettThompson/Ms Mikayla Weir; 59kg) should have finished much closer here lasttime when put into an ordinary spot and had trouble getting clear beforecharging late. Only won twice from 29, but frustratingly placed a further 14times, and with decent speed on up front, can surge over the top.

*MAIN DANGERS: Capable four-year-old 1. Forged InStone ran out of steam after leading first-up in a BM 58 at Parkes. Fitternow, and bolted in his only previous start on a heavy surface. Honestprovincial mare 2. Pluck And Lucky hit the liner hard in a good CL3 atTamworth fourth-up, and even better suited on the bigger track. Doubt anythingelse can win!

Likely Tempo: Solid

My Betting Attack: SPILIA to WIN & Box Exacta: 1,2,3

*RACE 7 @ 3.45pm RAY NOLAN CLASS 1 HCP (1100m) - MinWeight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Back we come in distance, and smart Scone three-year-old 1.THE WAYFARER (Rodney Northam/Grant Buckley; 60kg) is the one to beatfourth-up despite drawing off the track. Led all the way in dominant fashion atTamworth, and only missed a place once in five runs so far. Well used tocarrying weight, and only needs to get through the conditions.

*MAIN DANGERS: Provincial mare 9. She's Smart canimprove after holding her ground first-up for the new stable off a five weekfreshen. Big watch on former provincial-based three-year-old 2. Jervis nowtrained on the track who resumes off a forward trial in soft ground; while keepsafe local three-year-old 5. Expect A Hero who landed his maidenfirst-up in soft ground at Wellington.

Likely Tempo: Solid to Good

My Betting Attack: THE WAYFARER to WIN

*RACE 8 @ 4.25pm WESTERN CANCER CENTRE FOUNDATIONBENCHMARK 58 HCP (1600m) - Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

We close a big day in a tough and open mile battle.Hard five-year-old gelding 1. SLATEY BAY (Brett Thompson/Nicholas Hydea4kg; 60.5kg) can mix his form, but significantly comes back in journey, and right at home on rain-affected tracks.

*MAIN DANGERS: High class local four-year-old 2.Toulon Factor went close two runs back before sweeping home for an easy CL2win at Parkes. Loves this trip, and big weight has been off-set by a 4kg claim, just not convinced the inside draw will be the place to be late in the day. Beforgiving of four-year-old 3. Fanmalia who had nothing go his wayfourth-up at Quirindi. Still lightly raced, and surged home for a strong CL2win last time at this track. Include honest six-year-old 6. The Scotsmanwho has been in the finish in his last three, and ready for the step up indistance against a deeper field.

Likely Tempo: Fair

My Betting Attack: SLATEY BAY Each Way and Box Trifecta:1,2,3,6
